Reliable, October 2, 2011 By I have been using this reel for a year now. Dont let the price fool you, i have caught everything from perch to 30 pound yellowtail with this reel. Its stood up to all the abuse and still casts smooth. I expect to fish with this reel for years to come

Wished I woulda held off on the 100b that I paid 220 for and got two cardiffs!! I know next time! Casts very far with no backlash and is soo smooth!!!

I picked up this left handed version and cannot believe the difference in quality and features of these two generations of reel show. So smooth and well made. Now if I could only catch something with it, it would be perfect!. Highly recommended.
