Reliable, October 2, 2011 By  max p - See all my reviews I have been using this reel for a year now. Dont let the price fool you, i have caught everything from perch to 30 pound yellowtail with this reel. Its stood up to all the abuse and still casts smooth. This is by far the best reel for my money I've ever spent!! I have several shimano reels and this reel by far beats the 200 doLlar plus reels! Wished I woulda held off on the 100b that I paid 220 for and got two cardiffs!! I know next time! Casts very far with no backlash and is soo smooth!!! Now if I could only catch something with it, it would be perfect!. Highly recommended.
