Great product, July 8, 2010 Great product. I have had several over the years and recently purchased a few of new style 1200's. the 2 drag systems make it easy to fish multiple rods. you hear the sound the bait runner drag spooling line while the fish gets a chance to run with the bait. Hook set is a snap with the 2nd drag by either flipping the bait runner lever or simply begin reeling. the new style handle gives you more leverage when bringing in those deepwater jigs. Highly recommended.

baitrunner d4000, July 30, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase reel arrived in good time packaged well ,a lovely little reel light but strong i havnt used this one yet but will look forward to that in the near future.i have used the older models which are larger and clunkier but for all that they do catch some good fish.
