I have had several over the years and recently purchased a few of new style 1200's. the 2 drag systems make it easy to fish multiple rods. you hear the sound the bait runner drag spooling line while the fish gets a chance to run with the bait. Hook set is a snap with the 2nd drag by either flipping the bait runner lever or simply begin reeling. the new style handle gives you more leverage when bringing in those deepwater jigs. Highly recommended.
