I decided to buy a couple more but was disappointed to discover that the 500PT was discontinued. After some research I learned that the AC100HPT was the newest PT version so I bought 2. I took them fishing the next weekend and was VERY pleased to find that it was actually smoother than the 500PT! Smooth casting, reeling and I had only one minor backlash in 30 mph wind gusts! Couldn't be happier!!
